I wasn't aware that GW's admissions were selective atOct 03 2012Language - French/Spanish/etc.
I wasn't aware that GW's admissions were selective at the time that I applied, so I actually didn't do much. No interview or anything like that. I suppose if you have a solid academic background you have a good shot. I had taken a gap year after high school during which time I worked in the field I was interested in studying, so I suppose that professional experience helped me stand out.

I was a strait A student in HS, sports and clubs. While there are smart kids at GW many of them also make you wonder how they got there. Honestly i believe GW accepts kids either if you have good grades or the pockets to pay and give contributions to the school

CONNECTIONS! If you have a connection to this school, it's not hard to get into. I'm a legacy and my dad donates a lot of money to the medical school, so it's not hard. Another thing that really helps is having lots of extracurriculars. As long as your grades are normal, but you really exceed in sports, arts, etc., you get in.

You have to be a solid academic, and stand out in some way. This is not an easy school to get into.
